Stranded https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8509555/Released-Brighton-midfielder-Beram-Kayal-attracting-Reading-Bristol-City.html
Apparently we're interested in the recently released Brighton midfielder. Would likely be affordable wages and add some experience to the side in the middle.
Free transfers likely the way forward this year.

Mid Sussex Royal No thanks - did well in midfield with Stephens when Brighton went up but that was a a while ago and he's hardly played since

SouthDownsRoyal Not a bad player but a bit of a gamble, we have had enough gambles over recent years very few if any have paid off
No thanks

2 world wars, 1 world cup Kayal sounds too much like kayak and will confuse people.
For that reason I say no.

I have never met anyone called Beram so I am a little uneasy at this signing.
Do we know famous people called Beram?

Can’t find any on google.
Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t sign him but shame we don’t have any other famous people with that name, for comparison.

On the contrary I think it is something we have to have a long think about.

Wiki has an Indian computer scientist called Neeraj Kayal while the closest I can get to Beram is Trenten Beram who is a track and field athlete.

Thanks for your efforts.
My research has uncovered that he may be an Indian postbox or something.
Do we really want to sign such a player? Would be very static.
