Rumour-Harvey Blair

It's a bit tenuous but could be the right fit.

I believe we have been talking to Liverpool about possible loans post takeover, so would fit and think we were interested before.

As a club we now have a good track record of giving youngsters a chance. Maybe we could setup a similar deal to what we’ve done for Savage and Elliott. You’d think he’d choose Pompey but he’d get more game time with us.

Would have thought the priority is for full backs though. Be more than happy with things if Reading could somehow get him to join however.

Wouldn’t say so.

Yiadom, Abrefa, Ryan
Dorsett, Garcia, Osho

Vs

Smith and Wareham.

With Craig filling in ok, we've at least got some capable if weaker options at fullback.

If Smith’s out its Wareham or rejig the entire front line to give Kelv a go, which realistically means changing how we play if we want it to work, or Azeez.

And at least at RB we've got two players to come back.

Striker seems to me to be just as important as fullback, maybe more so. And we're a bit short on the wings as well with just Kelvin, Azeez and Camara.

Having a look at his information online, it appears he's a winger or wide forward.

We do need at least one winger. I don't think Azeez, Camara and Ehib will be enough to get through the season; especially as we may need Ehib to play up top at some point.

He's only played once in the EFL Cup and three times in the EFL Trophy in competitions above youth level. Would likely be someone who'd be coming off the bench initially.

RG30 Signing for Pompey.

Assumed he would, especially once we were linked to the Sunderland player who plays in a similar role.

Can't say I'm disappointed. Young player who has struggled with injury seems too risky for our needs.
