I met up with my old man today for some dinner, easter eggs etc, and he mentioned that one of the gentleman that sit with him each week at football claimed Reading were close to a deal with Virgin boss Richard Branson who apparently is a close friend. I'd never heard that one before however.
Now I know what you're thinking, same as what I said when he said it. This little rumour has gone around the supporters for however long.....yawn, but he said and I quote "My son works in Madejski's office" what ever that actually means!
I'm skeptical about it as it's almost to good to be true but if true, that's the sort of new buyer we want isn't it?
Thoughts about the new shirt sponsor next season sprang to mind also.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see but here it is again.
I can't pretend to be in the know, I'm not, but there are one or two on here that do seem to here goings on, can they support this or is this a case of grown man crying wolf?

I've been told these rumours weekly, but I want your verdicts on it. I got another text from a pal saying that Branson is interested in buying RFC, and is likely to move soon!!! If this is true, which I'm unsure about as yet as it hasnt happened may this be the man to take us back to the Premiership and turn us into a force!
