SPECULATION MATSUI + NAKAMURA: out of contract this Summer.

by hiro » 01 Apr 2008 15:48

Celtic's free kick specialist Nakamura may exit from Parkhead this Summer, as Japanese Newspaper reported today.
It says that if Strachan leave Parkhead this Summer after losing championship to Rangers, Nakamura may consider going back to J-League side Yokohama Marinos in the Summer.

Nakamura may not physically superior in English Premier League, but he has good skill of poke defenders, and control + kicking a ball in so many different ways. Creative and technical player with strategic eyes.
He will be 30 years old this June, so he is not that young player as he looks, but if we can attract him here, I believe that it would be a great addition and bring a healthy competition in our MF.

Not a chance.
Other 'big clubs' would grab him by the scruff of the neck before we even prod him.

President of Yokohama Marinos is going to have negotiation with CEO of Celtic in Glasgow on 22nd April.
Yokohama will demand free transfer of Nakamura from Jan 2009.

Nakamura said there are huge gap between Celtic and Barcelona after their Champions league exit. He saw the summit of the football world, and he may think he had enough with SPL. I hope we will try his luck at EPL next season, not J-league.

Le Mans's MF Daisuke Matsui scored twice yesterday against Lens in French Ligue 1 game.
1st goal http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8yWAg6obrss
2nd Goal http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hD7KQf5kSRo
Matsui's contract with Le Man will also be expired this Summer and he made it clear that he would like a new challenge at different league in Europe.
27 years old Matsui used to be Star MF at Kyocera's own Kyoto Sanga of Japanese league along with Ji-Sung Park.

As many of you says we can not afford Nakamura, still, Matsui might be affordable and he can be as good as Nakamura.
Matsui plays left side and behind strikers. Would be a good competition with Hunt and Convey.
