I would certainly be interested, but this club doesn't have the ambition to go for him.
Shame really.
And his wages are probs alot.

The article suggests that Gravesen is a bit of a bighead. Don't know if I would want him anyway.

Think he would add a bit of steel in midfield and do a job in the Championship.
If we lose Harps why not go for him.

He was very close to joining Sheffield United last summer. He would certainly join Reading, but Reading couldn't make an attractive enough offer to get him here in the first place.

End of.

I'm not so sure Streets. He is getting on in age and maybe attracted by say a two/three year deal with less money but over a longer period. I reckon he is good for two years.

You seriously think we can offer him a deal to get him here? Sheffield Utd couldn't and we wont match the wages they offer at this level.

What is our kind of player?
If you say young and ambitious I would suggest that you look at the ages of Murty,Marcus,Ivar,Duberry and Bryn.
Let's face it we have no idea what the club is looking for-supposedly a right-winger is the priority so we bring in a midget of a striker and still wait for this right-winger as we have done for a year.
With Harper going then if he is not replaced it looks as though the club will go for broke with Cisse-IMHO he didn't show enough last season to hold down a first team place but who knows, with a regular run he may become more confident and actually have an impact on games rather than struggling on the periphery.
With a player like Gravesen we would be getting somebody as a good reader of a game with a bite in his tackling, a bit like Bryn but slightly better.

Nothing to do with age, more the fact he is a big name signing considering the fact he has played for Real Madrid etc, means he wouldn't be the type of player I would expect us to go for as he would demand much higher wages than the rest of the squad.
