Super Kevin Bremner! Squad players should improve the overall squad and not indivuals necessarily. Yes he's old but he certainly is NOT rubbish.

We want a young-ish player to come in who will have a future at the club who wouldn't be a one season wonder..Darren Currie would be an example of a one season wonder. This Ben Watson bloke seems perfect. Unless he has signed elsewhere already?

No he isn't. A good squad player yes. No better or worse than Gunnarsson!

Super Kevin Bremner! You're missing the point. A squad player will deputise when we have injuries and will come off the bench when we need to change a game.
He's a creative player, a set piece speciallist (do we have one if Shorey goes?) and he's got ability to go past players and get his passes off.
He wouldn't start more than 10-15 games if that.
Young and hungry is our usual criteria. Didn't stop us signing Doobs though.
