Speculation : Simon Whaley

by Doyler » 07 Aug 2008 17:44

Always seemed a good player when were last in the championship, has pace, trickery and an eye for goal as well. I think he could slot in perfectly in the right wing berth I reckon we could get him for £1.5 - 2m. Still a young player as well, as he is only 23.

The right wing isn't a problem now.

Kebe, Henry and N.Hunt.

Left back is a problem.

But FFS stop suggesting we spend that sort of money on one player!

I'd rather sign Sharpy's mum than a Whaley.

Keep 'em coming like that, Norfers, and we'll have to call him Simon Wahey!

Yes, yes, and yes. I really like him. Could half replace Little.

Ideal £1.5M rated last year when Middlesbrough wanted him. We could afford that?
And for the idiot that said right wing isn't a problem, PLEAAAAASE - Jimmy Kebe WHAT A JOKE!!!!

We need Whaley N O W.

Tell Coppell that. Fact is we have Kebe, Henry (both :| ), N.Hunt and Doyle that can play there.

Ideal What you really are saying is we really don't have a specialist right winger. We've got two strikers, a useless waste of space and a youth player with little experience.
We need to sign a proven right winger who has first team experience, get rid of Johnny Kebab and use Henry as a backup for our new signing.
Johnny Kebab is never going to be a footballer, not in a million years. The sooner we get rid of him the better.

If kebe went who would the fans have to laugh at?
Only just signed him so i cant see kebe leaving for a while
And by "a proven right winger who has first team experience" who do you mean that is within our transfer budget (under £1 million)
