Archie's penalty Sounds a bit like the Tevez/Mascherano affair.

If signed, it is believed that the teenage international who is now out of contract at Olimpia Tirol will be loaned to Irish Club Cork City for the remainder of the Irish domestic football season and will return to play for Reading in mid-winter.
Sounds like we sign him, loan him out to get games at a reasonable standard and then he comes back and we settle him in and work on him.
I don't see any third party ownership.

I meant in the way that it is a big signing that would get the football world talking but would not provide much benefit to the club. Look at the effect Tevez and Mascherano had on Wet Sham. And before you say it yes I know Tevez kept them up but I don't think the signings helped their season in the main...

A big signing - the lad if he really exists comes from Moldova! That's not exactly football Mecca! Tevez and Mascherano were signed having just represented Argentina in the World Cup ..... So sounds to me more like a small, insignificant signing that could be a complete flop.

Archie's penalty But look at the clubs in for him - Chelsea, Arsenal, Zenit. If he came to Reading it would just be a stepping stone to greater things. But yeah we don't even know if he exists!

Bagduv became the youngest player capped at that level by his country and he went on to make his senior international debut aged just 16 years and 44 days when he came on for the national team in their 2-2 draw with Armenia in a friendly international in Tiraspol on May 28.
Trailing 2-1 with just ten minutes left, Moldova seemed set to lose until Bagduv lost his marker on the left wing, shimmied inside two defenders and fired in a shot that could only be parried by Armenian keeper Racif into the path of onrushing Igor Bugaev who equalised.
