New Centre Back

Anyone think we need a new CB to replace Sonko, Coppell has made it clear with have loads of players that can play in that position but i have heard a few rumours recently that we want to sign a PL centre back. Any thoughts ?

I agree with you-there are 4 months to go after tomorrow and an injury or two more and we really could be in lumber.

same could be said of any position. Centre-back is our strongest position imo, bringing in another one would be a waste of money that could be used to strengthen another part of the team.

He's more of a defender than a midfielder.

At no time did I say they were fooking centre backs. I know what they bloody are!! But they are cover. HTFH

Ingimarsson, Pearce, Duberry and Bikey are all easily good enough for this division. With the cover we also have (Sodje/Cisse) and the fact that if an emergency happened we can use the loan market there will be no permanent acquisition made today.
