Pulis For Reading?

by Negative_Jeff » 10 Nov 2008 10:41

It is February 2009 and a surprise managerial merrygoround has seen Tony Pulis installed as manager of RFC. Stoke fans are distraught as the January transfer window sees an exodus of "star players" to Reading including Shawcross, Delap, Sidebe and Fuller.
Neanderthal Pulis brings his admittedly relatively successful style of ugly, physical and very direct football to his new post. Reading remain in close contention at the top of the Championship behind a
resurgent Palarse and the Blades.

Are you;

a Turning up as usual showing the same enthusiasm as the Stoke fans for Pulis?

b Turning up through gritted teeth, ashamed and hoping for a quick change of manager?

c Not turning up at all?

One further option surely only for eccentrics who enjoy good football and beer, (oh dear)...

d Turning up at the pub before the game as usual and staying there?

I actually quite like Tony Pulis and respect what he's done at Stoke, however there is no way I would watch an entire season of his teams thanks.

Oh, right. :shock: Is this AFTER SImon Jordan has gone, 'cos Sir Steve won't be appointed by Jordan in a month of Sundays. So who replaces Jordan? Or is Sir Steve the owner as well as manager of Palace now?

WHY THE oxf*rd AM I LETTING THIS DRIVEL SUCK ME IN!?!?!?!?!

I'd expect a fifth element to all of this.

I probably wouldn't go much but then I don't now. Work commitments keep me on the road most weekends. I catch a few midweek games. I guess that's atleast a good thing about this league.
Pulis football at Reading? Well they went up didn;t they.
