There is no confirmation that O'Dea is leaving in January.

Well in that interview he said he would be happier at reading if he got the impression he would only warm the bench if he was to go back to celtic

Campbell will either join Newcastle of a Premiership team.

If he had an ounce of intelligence he would be playing now - rather than breaking his ocntract he shoul dhave requested a loan until Jan to a Championship club.

And you really think we'll be paying £40k a week for anyone any time soon?

Depends on new owners perhaps !!

Notts County seemed to think it was worth doing....

But I'd tend to agree, it seems unlikely

He can if his contract is mutually terminated and registration cancelled. He then becomes a free agent. Next...

Quite, he had his contract cancelled outside of the window, so cannot play for another club until the next window opens.

He could sign for someone, but he couldn't actually play for them until the next window opens.

The only way around it would have been to allow Notts County to keep his registration then "loan" him out to another Football League club til Jan.

^ 40k a week wages limits his options still. He wouldn't have come to a Championship club anyway.

No thank you.

I'd rather we got our younger central defenders some experience rather than pay ridiculous wages to a parasite who would in all probability, flounce away again if his prawn sarnies don't have the right amount of lemon mayo in them.

I think they were happy to get rid ... if he got injured, they could have ended up with him on their books paying big money.

He doesn't have to play.... sign him up for his experience, like we did with Sir Les and Martin Keown, they quite probably were a pretty big reason we ran away with the league the season after they left.
I think he would be a very smart signing
