Anyway, a friend of mine who works in the ticket office has just seen Robert Koren at Madejski Stadium. Makes perfect sense as he's just been released by West Brom so is the ideal Free transfer that we're looking for.

The downside? Surely midfield is our strongest area...I hope this doesn't mean we're losing Siggy?

Nevertheless, good signing but Koren and Sig in a 5 man midfield would be immense. Let's hope!

Very much doubt it'll happen, whether he has been looking round the Madejski or not. He's a good player and a few Premier League teams will be looking at him, especially as he is on a free. On top of that we wouldn't be able to afford his wages, and we're already over catered with central midfielders. My old man's an Albion fan, and he really rated Koren. Would've loved to see him here, but I just don't think it's feasible.

Not as ridiculous as it sounds really, good player for WBA last season and now on a free transfer at 29, would definitely take a pay cut so we'll see. I did wonder when he saw him released but midfield is one of our stronger areas which puts some doubt in it.
