I have part of an advertising board. Also a back of a seat from the North stand, now framed. Also a part of the floodlights - not sure what part mind.
A colleague of mine builds replica stadiums, about 10 inches by 12inches. I want him to make me a replica of Elm Park (they look fantastic, superb eye for detail). He would like to use my seat to make his seats, the metal from the floodlight to make the floodlights, and recycle the advertising board for the advertising boards. Then the model he makes for me will have authentic parts of Elm Park in it. But I don't know if I want to lose them in their current state.___ Do I have anything I'd sell though? No. In fact I'd like more memorabilia.

There must be people who have parts lying around in the back of their shed that they haven't seen for years, or am I just being optemistic?

I know a guy who has got one of the "People using bad language will be ejected" or whatever the sign said on the Southbank. I remember they were much longer than that but it was one of the better bits of memoribilia from elm park. He nicked it before the official auction.

Were they the ones with the British Rail livery on? That was random.

Not really - following sponsorship the official title of the Southbank was the 'Network South East Enclosure' (never heard one person call it that though) - all we got out of it was one football special train to Wolves and no mention ever again

Perhaps the train was vandalised by thugs.

Either that or some away fans who happened to be travelling on the same journey were responsible.

I used to have some Elm Park grass in my parent's freezer, until my mother defrosted it, and it went mouldy
