What about not buying tickets and not going? Is there loyalty in that?
Exactly my point (almost). I cant see where 'fans' get royalty/loyalty points for buying tickets and not going; surely its the same as not buying them and not going

I do actually, as it's a mockery of the whole system.
Genuine fans who are interested in watching a game of football will most probably buy a ticket for the reason of going ot the game, not to tactically put themselves in a more prominent and stronger position to buy tickets for the "big" games.
