[If any of the boys that orchestrate the chanting in the East Stand are reading this, 1st, please, do you think that we could drop the 'DIRTY NORTHERN BASTARD' chants please, as i don't think Steve Coppell, Graeme Murty, Kevin Dillon etc. are too keen on it. 2nd, for faks sake, stop that pathetic, embarrassing cringe time chant of 'SOUTHERNERS,SOUTHERNERS SOUTHERNERS' away teams will think that were 'ALL' retards with a mental age of 5 years. 3rd, and most importantly......BOYCOTT TOM HARK!

Sod off. Said players are proffesionals and will rise above it. said fans are easy to wind up and its all part of the banter. said songs are good fun to sing and again, its all part of the banter.

They're two of the few Southbank classics, and we should treasure them. BTW, I think I remember Dylan Kerr (from Leeds) leading a rendition of Northern Bastards at LoLuton in the mid-nineties.

Agree about Tom Hark, though.

I think the emphasis is more on the 'Dirty' and 'bastard' parts. The 'Northern' bit only serves to add a bit of context to the whole chant.

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion.
