It's old, it's tired, it's sooo 4 seasons ago!! If we insist on goal music then we really must have something so much more uplifting and pumping, like (and I've mentioned this before) Reach Up (Lloyd and Leroy's tune). If it's not going to be uplifting then what's the point?

The trouble is, as someone has mentioned elsewhere, BTB want a replacement rather than simply droping it all-togehter. Who decides if we want music at all?

Yesterday proved once and for all that we don't need any music after a goal is scored. STOP IT NOW!!!

Mrs Butler Needs to be

SWEET CAROLINE :D

Please can someone ascertain why the club has not followed up on this despite the players wanting it played...?

To be pedantic (and I love that), what it proved is that it wasn't needed at that game. You could read across and say that it might not be needed at some other games too. We could also get into a debate over 'need', and what you mean by that!

"when the majority don't react that way, that's when we'll take the hint and drop it".
pathetic - so when we all sit down and cross our arms when the music plays they'll stop playing it

The 'Tom Harks' goal celebration is embarrassing for the club and makes us look like a bunch of plebs. I hope the club scraps this as it is just too bad for words.

There's at least one player who thinks Swee Caroline is the worst idea ever.

BTW I'm no fan of Tom Hark but on saturday a load of fans seemed to start doing it before the music was played. Hardly the "everyone is against it" stat pulled out weekly on this the most boring repeated subject in the history of HNA?

I for one did not enjoy Tom Hark and did not join in. I don't think that goal celebrations should be manufactured or controlled. I don't get told when to cheer or sing during the rest of the game - I choose to - so why take away the spontinaity of a goal celebration by playing a song that I don't identify with.

From the looks of the website it seems that they've taken a 'the public wants what the public gets' mentality.

Thats what we should do then.

Or possibly, when tom hark plays when we put our third past Chelsea we can start off a "stand up if you hate Tom Hark" chant?

Did anyone watch/listen to Wigan V Man City today?

Tom Hark after each goal.
4 bloody times.

Wigan are using it.

If that doesn't prove it's shit and should be consigned to the dustbin,
what does?

The PA team should not play it for one game and if they are snowed under with complaints then it will have to stay :(

if not then it can go forever :D :D :D
