soggy biscuit Spacey is going to have 2 difficult decisions over who to support in the space of 2 weeks

That's a no-brainer. I support Reading, so who do you think I'll be supporting?

Huntley & Palmer If we ask for a full allocation then we will get the entire Anfield Road lower tier. I very much doubt we will take more than a few thousand to this seeing as it will be mid week and a weaker team will be out, can see this going on general sale. I have a ticket as part of the away season ticket scheme, whether I go or sell my ticket is another matter.

Would imagine it would be priced around the Â£20 mark

Are you sure that you get a ticket through your away season ticket ? I thought that this was for league games only? There was the home cup games option as I recall, but I didn't think this included away cup games.

If it does I will have a pair for sale.

As part of the AST, the small print said that you would also be autmatically charged for all away Cup matches as well.

Liverpool paid around Â£17 for theCarling Cup semi final last season so around the Â£20 mark is spot on - cracking draw from my point of view, cheeky little taxi ride there for me!

If I go by plane or train theres none coming back the same night and if i go by car the person who'd drive us up said they wouldn't want to drive back the same night although we might still.

There's a train back to Oxford, departing Liverpool at 3:18 and reaching oxford at 8 ish. Just in time to go to work.

I fear that the two train changes might do for me though.

Tourist information is the way to go.
ring them or go in and haggle.
you will get a good deal.
better than walking into a hotel and paying list price.

If you want a real cheapie Hotel Formule 1 opposite albert dock is Â£30 a night for up to 3 people i think.
and Albert Dock bars are open late, and its close to city centre.
Bus from town or a cab is the best way to get to the ground.
