I thought DLC had a good starting debut for the team. For me, it just seemed like he was beaten for pace a little too often. Now at 32, that isn't really a surprise, but I wonder if the famed sports science at RFC may help with this, along with some better positioning. Still, overall a good performance and I for one am pleased to have him as cover for Murts in preferences to Halls.

Have you seen how quick the West Ham players are anyway? They aren't exactly slow!
Good performance although i do feel he could have done a bit more on the occassion when he hit it out for throw-ins. Better safer than sorry though, so fair play to the bloke

brighton_royal Got to say he looked like he could use a bit more time working with the team. He looked OK at digging out tackles but some of his passing was a bit scary to be honest.
Not at all bad considering what a short time he has been with the club though.

The Surgeon of Crowthorne I did hear someone on 606 saying he had a nightmare, so was this a typical over-reaction? (I didn't go, BTW, in case you ask!)

No, not really, although he did improve slightly in the second half, although that wouldn't have taken much.
