Spirit of Elm Park I'm glad this topic came up.

Worryingly, i lay awake last night with this going around in my head.

If anyone knows the tune of "Music Man" as sung by "the tweenies" amongst others (yes I have Kids  )
The chorus is the "Pia-Pia-Piano-Piano-Piano" tune

His name is seol Ki-hyeon
He comes from South Korea
and he can play
Oooh he can pla---y

Seol Ki, Seol Ki
Seol Ki Hyeon
Seol Ki Hyeon
Seol Ki Hyeon
Seol Ki, Seol Ki
Seol Ki Hyeon
Seol Ki, Seol Ki Hyeon

If you sing the Chorus while bobbing around its quite good fun and You can actually adapt it to the whole team, so could be the base for a monster chant.

Sounds good to me
Edit
Got it stuck in my head now

I'm sure someone must be able to put up a simple chant in Korean with phonetic pronounciation. Seol would be well impressed with something in his own language and opposing fans wouldn't have a clue what we were on about.

Given the high degree of complexity in chants like, "He's m u r t y" and "Sonko is superman" how hard can it be to do a phoentic Korean equivalent.

To the tune of "Gold" by Spandau Ballet (of course! ) for when he scores:

Goal!!! Always believe in our Seol, he's got the power to know, he's indestructible - or something.

Place I heard that song used was Sunderland about Julio Arca. I've only ever been to one Arsenal game and that was against us where he wasn't playing so I would have never heard them sing it.

Every single football song has been 'stolen' from somewhere.

markwilson88 To the tune of that advert for the asda george range doing the rounds at the minute...

Woah woah woah hes magic we know.....
Now we believe we've got seoul
hes magic, we know,
now we believe we got seoul

Been doing my head in all day that tune but thats the best I came up with!

Rubbish?

Shouldn't you be making up tunes for Arsenal players and not Reading?

Not a song that would catch on.

I don't mean this to be racist, but how about 'Run run run run chinky' to the tune of the old Gilkes one?

haha yeah fair call!

Was at charlton away on saturday and I can never get over how much better big teams like united, arsenal, newcastle come up with witty original songs. Now my effort was hardly witty but an original tune!

Not that many catch on and so many are cringeworthy. Still gtting over the 'amartin butler' ,extra syllable included, to the tune of tom hark!

I never added an "a" to the Martin Butler chant to the tune of Tom Hark - there's no need. PLOLastics!

Well, I'd reckon next to no-one would sing that, due to the very fact that calling him a chinky (especially when he's Korean) is actually a bit racist.
