Trouble in Y25/Chelsea fans?

by Rhys The Royal » 14 Oct 2006 20:30

Saw a few things being thrown at the Reading fans about 2-3 minutes after the final whistle, causing a bit of a scene. Anyone know what this was all about?

No doubt Chelsea were running us on our own turf, as seems to be the fashion these days.

Hope the Y25ers gave 'em a kicking.

In no way do I condone football in violence

Seemed to be a load of youth winding up some older Chelsea boys.

About half way through the second half there was something going on. I think there must have been a chelsea fan in Y25 around row m because when they scored a guy got chased out by loads of people and was being spat at.

Hope TVP police did their job this time and picked up the scum. If they fail to act they only encourage it.

Reading and chelsea both giving as good as they got, coins and a few punches throw between the two sets, stewards on the ball quickly but did oxf*rd all.

The stewards were awful today...

1. Spent too much time pointlessly telling people in Y25/6 to sit down, it wasn't working!

2. Hardly did anything about the Chelsea fans who went on the pitch.

3. Two cars were trying to drive down Hurst way when it was absolutly packed with fans leaving the stadium, where were the stewards there and how did they get through?

Even I could see stuff being thrown from reading fans over on the Chelsea fans. It wasn't just Chelsea throwing stuff on Reading fans. No one that stayed after the game just to taunt each other in Southeast corner can complain about any of it IMO. They wanted a bit of back and forth and I imagine they got some. End of.

You know Frimmers.......sometimes I wonder if the computer generated yoof such as Burnsey could've survived the cold winters at Elm Park, yet alone getting twatted on the back of the head by a coppers gauntlet when he let out a naughty word or two.

Football violence is soooooooooo 1970s

Some Chelsea ran on the pitch so Reading started making getures at them which got all the Chelsea right next to the home end started making gestures at the Reading fans so there was a small charge towards the away end and things started getting thrown, my mate's cousin got a stick of celerey thrown at him  which he threw back, I got hit on the head by a Dr.Pepper bottle, turned to pick it up and stacked and went head over heels shoulder first to the row in front of me. I got up and coin flew past me. Police were no where to be seen despite being there all match, when I managed to get out police were getting geared up in their riot stuff.
