harper points more than fabregas and is always the foil in our set free kick's

good article, but lets not forget fabregas is the elite, the best and will undoubtably become one of the worlds best players ... you could make similar comparisons with the likes of nicky butt ... x man u and a title winner !

Due to Reading's policy of safety-first football

What does that mean???

It means "I haven't seen Reading play except against Man U and Chelsea, so that must be how they play all the time. I really can't be bothered to do any research, you know"

Or maybe its how we tend not to take chances with regard to playing risky football, we dont just through caution to the wind...... which is why we look, on the whole, a solid team....

Stewart Robson is one of the best pundits and journo's in the game, excellent indsight and knows his stuff about youth football in this country.

His article about Harper is spot on although comparing him to Fabregas is harsh. Fabregas is one of the best in the world and simply Harper aint!

For all of Harper's qualities and the class the man really does have we rarely see it. Totally ineffective yesterday and defensively AWOL again. You can't play Arsenal with two midfielders who aren't prepared to make a tackle.

Harps was one of better players yesterdy, better than that Arsenal obsessed idiot Sidwell, he seemed quite happy to get on and let them win.

Harps was excellent, again he gets slated for not being spectacular, most of our good set plays were from him, he passed well, harrased and was composed.

Harps in the post

Their players are all over the place. It’s just so fluid and at 4-0 they just kept the ball. They must have made 100 passes and I just wanted to hit someone!

Why didn't you James? Alright not punch them but why not make one or two tackles mate!!!!!

There passing was so quick by the time a tackle was put in, or not, the ball was gone.

Can't tackle them without the ball.

Yep

Then you couldn't have been watching the game mate. Yes Arsenal passed it very quickly, but there was also countless time when they were at walking pace just knocking the ball around under ZERO pressure from our midfield. Our defenders and at least 1 of our centre midfielders should have put a few tackles in them first 10 minutes. We allowed them to play.
