Why? He was only speaking the truth. I didnt think he was too condescending and he paid us a fair few compliments. At least he didnt sneer like Mark Lawrenson would have done.
And Arsenal were indeed a pleasure to watch today

SouthDownsRoyal Bang on JMW, I want us to win, I am a crazy Reading fan, I thought at 2-0 we could get a point (!) but we were treated to a footballing lesson today, a joy to watch someone actually play class football and score good goals with no doubt about them, if I am supposed to moan, be negative and hate Arsenal for that then sorry, I refuse to do so, credit where credit it due, they were a different class today.

Glory Boy Must agree some of Mersons remarks made me cringe but I do think it is great sportsmanship to applaud an opposing teams goal.
Saw Palermo in their promotion season and all their fans rose to their feet and applauded noisily when lowly Avellino equalised with a wonder strike.
Can't ever remember seeing this at any other live game.

Even psycho fans from Besitkas applauded Spurs off the pitch on thrusday. Nice to see.
I remember a few years back when some reading fans (me included) applauded wimbledon players off the pitch after they did us 3-0 and it caused all sorts of rows between the reading fans.

I'm a little gutted we got beat, but i'm not all that despondant getting beat with such a breathtaking display. My real regret was that I couldn't get to the game today to watch such sublime stuff in the flesh
