Royalty points suddently shot up?

by JR » 24 Oct 2006 17:34

I have just checked my royalty points for myself and 2 friends and our points have increased by approximately 100 each.

While this is mighty nice of the club (or alternatively just administrative chaos), it is made me furious as I waited to get tickets for Liverpool away until the 461 + today, when I could have got them last week.

Therefore, I have missed out as they are now sold out, when I didn't have to miss out.

Anyone else experienced this strange occurrence?

Yep, after I bought my Liverpool tickets mine shot up by around 80. However, they've now gone down to less than they were before, so I'm rather confused.

I have laboriously added up all my points in my Order History and everything adds up.

One member account has been allocated points for Liverpool (league) another account has not

I'm considering keeping a screenshot of every page from my order history as evidence.

same thing happened to me prior to the arsenal game last season

suddenly got a shed load of points that pushed me over the points limit allwoing me to buy tickets

bought the tickets on line, no queuing and they arrived in the post no problem

points later vanished

then they stopped sellinga way tickets online

at the time I assumed I had my points "bumped up" as I had been to previous 3 (swansea, luton and sheffield) rounds of the league cup. no idea if that was correct or if I was just lucky it was a glitched

I've managed to lose over 70 points today. Tremendous error on their behalf.

Not impressed with the Fulham tickets going on sale Wednesday, and I just know it's going to be a hassle trying to get it resolved by then.

Edit: Have found the error. My points for the 2005/2006 season have gone down to 68, when before they were 140. So the problem with last seasons points they say they are fixing has now done the opposite for me surfaced on my account.

My son had last season HST points reduced from 68 to 60. No reply from the TO on why or when they'll fix it yet.

Half season tickets were 68 points? So they've swapped my full season ticket points for the points of a half season ticket then!

Apart from going into the ticket office, how do you find out your points total?

Go onto the online ticketing, and click 'Check My Purchase History'.
