Tilehurst Mike With the Premiership, the Big 4/5 teams and Chelsea's ridiculous spending on tramsfers and wages has really killed the game, so that the Premiership is fast becoming like Rangers/Celtic has been for years in Scotland.
Ever since 1992, only four clubs have won the English championship (or Premiership if you would prefer to call it). The majority of them have been won by Manchester United and Arsenal. And you say it's fast becoming like Rangers and Celtic in Scotland? Some might argue that it had already been like that and Chelsea winning it was a breath of fresh air.
Look at the Spanish league. It's usually won by either Barcelona or Real Madrid - surely a two horse race? I'm sure we can find similar examples in most leagues around Europe.
