Much much MUCH better Hahnemann.

I'm not retracting my criticisms, but today was much more like Hahnemann of last season.

The influence of Murty being back in the team?

Solely on todays performances Marcus or England's No1? No contest. Especially as Robinson kicked the ball into touch more than Marcus!!

It was a simple question. Who would YOU choose not Steve Feckin McLaren

Marcus rolled the ball out much more today, and his kicking was greatly improved. He seemed to go for more height and a bit less distance for a change. (with the notable exception of the long punt for Doyle's goal)

No it wasn't at all, I'd rather have Hahnemann but its a moot point as he isn't English. Personally i'd rather have James than Robinson at the moment.

The Surgeon of Crowthorne Couldn't the fact that Marcus is kicking more than throwing this season because he's been told to do this? I'm sure he's not being told to kick it straight out but he probably has been told to direct his kicks to the wings. If this isn't wanted, I'm sure that instructions would come onto the pitch PDQ to tell him not to do this. I'm not sure though why he should be being told this - unless SC has no faith in our defence being able to carry the ball forward.

Thats exactly what I said to my dad during the 1st half against Charlton yesterday, think its a reflection of the way the team has been told to play. In the 2nd half that wasnt the case, his kicks went down the middle, as I think the idea was to soak up the Charlton pressure and hit them on the break that way. Its no coincidence we didnt use the flanks as much leaving Shorey free on the left on at least once occasion.
