Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

by Farnborough Royal » 26 Nov 2006 11:02

Did any one else get them at the game yesterday?

£2.50 for a box of two, but as I've never seen them on sale at a football match before I thought I might aswell buy them, oxf*rd lovely :)

Why doesn't the Mad Stad sell them?

£2.50 for 2? Christ that's expensive. Generally they're about 60p each from their outlets I think.

And although they are rather pleasant they are also known to be the most unhealthy foodstuff on the planet.

They only want to sell them at 'exclusive' places though to keep the 'exclusivness' about them.

On one thread (can't find) there was a link to the 'buy one get one free' voucher for soft drinks on the fulham website.
1. Thanks for the link, printed a couple of .
2. Even though they were supposed to be used by 2:15, we bought our drinks at about 2:20, no jobsworths watching the clock, just surprise that we had them as we wore Reading shirts.

Their site says that it's in the Lawn Retail area of the station. That's the bit with Yo! Sushi, etc. in it. I'm not sure where exactly it is in there though.

Might miss the start of the 2nd half though.......

On a serious note, I thoroughly enjoyed Sat's trip. Been before but they were both midweek games and after all the rain turned out to be a really pleasant day sipping me bottle of Carlsberg whilst watching the rowers go past on the thames at half time...very pleasant & sedate.....

Long live grounds like Craven Cottage....proper traditional stadia with real character and loads of places to eat/drink...
