Arsenal - March 3rd

Any ideas when SKY will announce their fixtures for March - just want to know whether they will move the Arsenal game.

I hope it is shown on Sky. It'll hopefully dissuade the 'big game away fans' from swallowing up all the tickets and give me a chance of going.

Looking at the fixtures for that weekend, I doubt it will be on "proper" Sky:

Arsenal v Reading, 15:00
Bolton v Blackburn, 15:00
Fulham v Aston Villa, 15:00
Liverpool v Man Utd, 15:00
Man City v Wigan, 15:00
Newcastle v Middlesbrough, 15:00
Portsmouth v Chelsea, 15:00
Sheff Utd v Everton, 15:00
Watford v Charlton, 15:00
West Ham v Tottenham, 15:00

Liverpool v Man Utd will be on Sky and I reckon the other game will be West Ham v Spurs.

We might end up being on Prem Plus.

Liverpool v United will be on at 12.45 on the Saturday more than likely, no chance will the Police let it kick off later then 1pm.

Arsenal v Reading could well be the 4pm game on the Sunday. Either that or the Spurs v West Ham game.

Originally, I thought they'd have a Sunday double header (like the reverse set of fixtures in october) with the Liverpool game at 1pm and West Ham v Spuds at 4pm. Having looked at the CL fixtures, Liverpool play Barca on the following Tuesday so looks like you're right about the Sat 12:45 kick off.

Would the Met Police have a fit about a London derby at 4pm on a Sunday? If so I'd say Arsenal v Reading would look pretty much a cert to be the 4pm Sunday game.

Having said that, have Pompey had a "Super Sunday" home game yet? If not, it could be Pompey v Chelsea as Pompey aren't on Sky before the end of Feb.

Pompey hardly ever have a 4pm Sunday game. Think it's down to woeful facilities.

I don't think the Police would let the Spurs v West Ham kick off at 4pm either now you mention it.

Reckon that will kick off at 2pm on Prem Plus and Arsenal v Reading on at 4pm.

I wondered about the Pompey thing - I can't remember a Sunday 4pm game from Fratton park for ages although I stand to be corrected (they usually get the Prem Plus / Monday night offerings).

Sheffield Utd v Everton to be the Saturday 5:15 Prem Plus game.

For purely selfish reasons, i would prefer this to be put back to the Monday night; presumably however, if there are CL fixtures wk beg 5th march, there will be no chance of that.....
