Rule 29 paragraph 19 subsection b "If game at old Trafford match officials must give benefit to home side".

The overpaid useless barsteward officials at these 'top' levels of the game should be treated exactly the same as managers and compelled to appear at post match press conferences to explain their actions.

3-2 Leroy Lita

Current "attendance" is around 40,000.

I wouldn't say "well beaten" - it doesn't sound like we've been totally outclassed like against Arsenal.

Man U played well, but all the key decisions went their way and it's still only 3-2. Not bad effort Reading

F*cking well done, lads.

Let's hope Murts isn't too bad and bring on West Ham.

Our performance was nothing to be ashamed of, and yes the better side won. HOWEVER, they should not have needed the assistance of the ref. We made a game of it, and I am proud of our 10 finishers that made the team at the top of the league sweat for a bit iin the last couple of minutes.

Well done Reading.

voyeur I am relativley proud of that result and it is good to see Leroy getting goals. Cant be bad for us that he has scored against the two top clubs in the country

Not just that - we have gone away to the top two clubs in the country in the space of four days, got a point at one, lost by one goal at the other but still scored 4 goals.

There won't be many other away teams this season scoring a total of 4 goals at SB and OT, if any - just checked the league table and on Xmas day, both Chelsea and United had conceded just 4 goals at home (obviously Fulham got 2 at SB today but got spanked 5-1 at OT).

Trite, don't you mean daft?

Well beaten?

As for officials, anyone care to explain why Sodje warranted two yellows and Richardson gets away with a dreadful foul on Gunnarsson?

Just watched Sodje's second yellow again - it was nothing, an absolutely terrible decision, I didn't see any contact. Lino had his flag up for off side. Ref sends Sodje off.
