Transfer window opens tomorrow!

by The Goat was fed » 31 Dec 2006 12:28

Anyone else excited?

I've got a funny feeling we might have signed someone and Coppell is doing an expert job of keeping it on the down low.

I reckon it'll be Ronaldinho.

Here's hoping for a striker, midfielder, cover for centre back, and right back!

Optimistic. I have the funny feeling that on January 31st, there will be half a dozen threads bemoaning the fact that Sir Steve hasn´t signed anyone.

And countless reminders to the moaners that it's not Sir Steve's fault if nobody wants to sign for little ol' Reading.

No, not really. I doubt you'll see many changes at all.
Eddie Johnson looks a sure bet and we MUST bring in cover/competition for Murty IMO. Other than that it will be business as usual.

Agreed

Could well prove the case, and why should we moan?
Kitson and Convey aren't far off a return and that's like having two new players on board!
Bryn has looked in good shape when he's had a game and we only look vulnerable at right back when Murty is missing.
I'd like to see Greg Halford come in and I'd be a very happy bunny.

What are the odds on when Coppell says nobody wants to sell their players, or that we are waiting for other teams to make the moves before anything starts happening?!

The often mentioned Bobby Zamora is on the transfer list at West Ham according to The Times. And we've all heard how Coppell got the best out of him when they were at Brighton.

I do think je would be a good signing for us, as he would provide useful back-up to Kitson and should be complementary to Lita or Doyle.

i dont think we will sign anyone for a while that is what usually happens. But Coppell knows what he is doing so i have trust in him.
