fozziebear I have it on good authority that once the hotel expansion is finished the club will start on the stadium.

Coppelled Streets Update 22/01/07
Chief Executive Nigel Howe has confirmed that the Club's planning application for the expansion of Madejski Stadium will be submitted to Reading Borough Council this week.
Nigel told readingfc.co.uk, "Our planning application will be considered by the council and we anticipate receiving approval in the spring
"This would allow us to start preliminary works in the close season and we could then commence building works on the East Stand in August or September.
"The works should not affect the normal seating positions in the East Stand as the construction would take place behind the existing stand.

That almost guarantees several angry season ticket holders will find they no longer have their seats!

biscuitsrus Is this in line with what we were previously told? Are we not missing the boat for 2007/2008.
Surely if they would have got there act together work could have started earlier.
