Mainly it will just make it worse for cars trying to leave the stadium car parks.

Thats 500 more cars battling to get out of Green Park and getting in my way.
It's about time the club put pressue on Green Park to open up J11A so that we'll be able to get straight out onto the motorway and not have to bother fighting with the A33 traffic.

The 17 Bus where is J11A to be then?, the more junctions on a motorway the slower the traffic flow, as more will use it for local journeys.

Dirk Gently But it's a simple equation that most people seem to be missing : More parking = More congestion.
Junction 11, the A33 and especially the roundabout and the stadium entry/exit roads are already at capacity, so trying to squeeze even more cars down them will only make things worse.
The only asnwer is more public transport, intelligently used and properly priced.
But everyone seems to expect to be able to drive to park close by the stadium, to be able to drive away down empty roads as soon as the match is over, and to moan and whine if they can't. It ain't gonna happen by just adding more parking!
