Nicest Reading players

by Gordons Cumming » 05 Jan 2007 16:05

As Doyle and Hunt have just signed extended contracts and JM has described them as "nice lads" which Reading players who you've met in the past can be classed as "nice"?

Justin Fashanu was said to be a nice boy.

Marcus is probably the nicest one I have met and spoken to in depth.

Phil Whitehead was the most miserable player I have ever met.

Harper seemed like quite a nice bloke when I met him, if a bit of a twat.

Barry Hunter was a miserable bastard when he was at one of our football presentations years ago, but I think he was pissed at the time.

I remember having a long chat with Keith McPherson at the EP Open Day, just before it was due to be demolished, he was a nice guy.

Of the few of the current crop I've spoken to Murts is a top guy, as you'd expect
