PieEater I'm not sure that I can make Tuesdays game, if I get a refund do I forgo any Royalty points despite having gone today?

IMHO they should offer another 10 points if you make Tuesdays game, 10 points for making it to two games is pretty poor.

yea thats a point

dantheloyalroyal What is happening with car parks? £7+ is alot for different people, so what do we do? Have kept the ticket, but is there any point, as there is no indication on the ticket what game it was issued for :?

kinda a good point £7 is a bit of money for some, but the porblem there is indication of the match, is there no code on it?

There is a code, but..
1. They probably dont take note from where they start from, if they use a reel until it runs out
2. If they dont, and just have a new one each match day, theres nothing stopping you from using one from the old HP car park

As these car parks received money for no more probably than an hour's parking - it might be a nice gesture to offer free parking on Tuesday. But they won't.

How could they make sure that the people parking for free on Tuesday were the same people who paid to park on Saturday?

In any case, the only real cost when you own a car park is the labour cost - which needs to be provided again on Tuesday.

Wednesday looks OK.

PS Is true Tuesday sort of religious like shrove Tuesday?

More to the point, given the weather forecast over the day couple of days, will there be a much earlier decision to postpone this time.

Not sure the club can get away with allowing people to buy their programmes, burgers, beer etc and call of at the last minute again.

How early would you like?

Reading could cancel early on Tuesday morning to save the remaining Burnley coach setting off south again.

But the sun might come out in the afternoon?

No league ground has a sun roof like the Millenium Stadium, correct?

That being the case, in times of intense weather, should the club not have a giant pitch cover like cricket greens to protect the pitch before Tuesday? Then we'll just have to worry about what happens after 7pm...

What happens if it is called off, will they call it a draw and have the replay decide it up at Turf Moor?

as it hasn't stopped raining since saturday, and more to come, I wouldn't be surprised to see the game called off again.

If that happens, i suspect that it will be played the following Weds night (the night of the replays from this weekend); if that goes to a replay, it will be played on the day of the 4th round, with the 4th round game being rearranged for the middle of the following week.

Nope, it'll just get re-arranged again. And if it keeps getting postponed up to the day of the 4th Round, it'll be played instead of the 4th round game that day.

A cover is definitely available, trouble is that for the downpour on Saturday it would have had to have been removed about 1-30, just about when the rain started, also regarding drainage a wet pitch will drain as the water has soaked in already, whereas a downpour on a dry pitch is even more likely to sit on the surface.

The radio this morning said the referee would not be inspecting the pitch this morning but a couple hours before kick-off. All signs are good the pitch has dried out and only drizzle is forecast for today :)
