West Stand Man
Woodcote Royal I'm assuming "squad player at best" has now replaced "not good enough" for 2007.

I seem to remember that Sonko and Kitson were once holders of this infamous title.

So, I guess it should come as no surprise to see it attached to a midfieder who stood in at right back, whilst the defence kept a clean sheet, as they hammered the oppo 6-0, one of which he scored..........................as ever, we are grateful to our resident experts for their input.

How true, how true. I am sure that if you could be bothered to trawl the pages of HNA you'd find evidence of virtually every player in this squad being described as 'not good enough' at some time! I recall the vitriole at the start of this season over the lack of signings because 'most of this squad is not up to Prem League standard'. Thank heavens that Steve Coppell and his management/coaching team are in charge and not some of the kids who endlessly post rubbish about the players on here!

you wouldnt even need to trawl that far
no escapes the reading fc fans scapegoating and bandwagon jumping
shory had two average games and people were even slagging him off

could be a good one

Sheff U have found their feet in the Prem in these cold months of winter.

We are fully aware of eachothers philosophy, having locked horns many times recently.

3 points to Reading.....but not without a struggle

We will play Sheff U. again next season in the Prem.

Spot on. 2-1 to us but a real blood and thunder encounter. Wigan are looking increasingly likely to take the third relegation spot with the Hornets and Charlton so we can all have a good laff at Colin next season (unless of course the Blades decide to make a break from tradition and appoint a new manager with some tactical ability, level-headedness and a track record of developing and motivating nascent talent.....)

Can they concede as faintly comical goal as they did this weekend?

Kevin Dillon We've got Mr Warnock and Sheffield United next week, who always think they're a better team than us but we seem to beat them on a regular basis.

Reading 1 - 0 Sheff. U.

Will be a tougher game than it looks but I think Reading will pull through and win.

Leroy to score.

I absolutely hate it when we play Sheff Utd. You know that if we lose (and thankfully it hasn't happened for a while) the aftermath will be horrible. When they do finally beat us it will be even worse as it ended the jinx so to speak.

I honestly would be happy as long as we avoid defeat on Saturday and hence would take an injury and suspension-free 0-0.

Reading get the ball in the net, but incorrectly flagged for offsides. Sheffield United get a penatly in second half, Marcus runs out to block it 3 times, and it gets retaken each time, finally the fourth time and a yellow card, Marcus stays on his line and Hulse sends it flying over the post. Hunt, DLC, Lita, Long, Seol, Marcus are all slated moments after the FT whistle.

Sheffield United 0 - 0 Reading

Shown last on Match of the Day

-------------------------------------------------------

Lita scores the first Reading hattrick in the premiership and Kitson nets one in aswell. Colin runs onto the pitch at FT and completely slags of his goalkeeper and pushes him to the ground. The news runs with the story "They sold me the wrong Gerrard" and makes Neil out to be a murderer. Hunt, DLC, Lita, Marcus, Long, and Seol all look fantastic, but some still question their ability, particularly Lita for 'nearly' acting like a thug.

Blades 0 - 4 Royals

Shown third from last on Match of the Day

I reckon we are due a defeat. Sheff Utd to go 2-0 to stunned silence, Royals to pull oneback but not the second. Colin to go mental.

Hope I'm totally wrong although Colin always goes mental.

blade 1 arsenal always go on about how rough other teams are.

Yet their cowardly tackles were far and asway worse than any united did.

It's what I've been saying about Arsenal. They're a nasty piece of work.

biscuitsrus
Nezhen I hope Gunnarsson plays in this one and scores another 2 beauties like he did last season. He is both under-rated and under valued IMO at the moment. Some of his exploits and particularly his important goals were nothing short of fantastic last season.

We MUST beat Colin's tits !!

Bryn's lack of pace is a problem. Not overated, squad player at best but gives it 100%

thats rubbish

he is a first team player at best, and if harps wasnt playing well hed play every week, he has so much more than pace that his lack of it is immaterial, one of my favourite reading players
you take it back!

I predict the Sheffield Utd manager Neil Warnock to stand by the bench all game and rub his chin silently.
