The Warnock post match moan thread

"We all know what Stephen Hunt's like, very inflammatory and gets others in trouble before running away"

"Wally made a comment about me telling my players to break legs. How stupid"

Also he said about Hunt "If he'd gone for the ball, he'd have won it" (or something along those lines)

I'm not gonna bring shame upon the board by expending the keystrokes required to label Warnock for the four-eyed rectum on two legs that he is.

B'sides, everybody already knows it's true anyway.

Wally's going to get you!

According to Sir Steve he just decided to 'make his point a little more forcibly'!

Mind you, bit of a disgrace picking on a sick old man like that!

I don't think it's right to condone Wally's behaviour today. As Mick Gooding said on BBCRB, there's no place for it football.

Everyone knows what a complete plank Colin is and we should know better than to rise to the bait. If Wally felt that Colin being deliberately inflammatory then he should have remonstrated with the Fourth Official and Referee rather than start kicking people.

Saying that, it's a shame he didn't kick Colin in the bollocks.

It looked at one moment from where I sat that the entire Sheff Utd bench had been sent to the stands.

That was EXACTLY what he was doing!!!! Looked that way to me and my mate at the time.

//and Warnock has form. Last season he got in trouble for shouting at his players to break Gary Kelly's leg in the Sheff Utd-Leeds match!! (after Kelly went over the top on his player and stayed on)

Same here. Where did they all disappear to, there weren't even any subs!!! Says on SSN that Kidd was also sent off - which is nice!

Warnock's a fan.

If any of us (except the plastics amongst us) were down there managing our team we'd be going mental. I know I would. I go to watch a match with the best of intentions and within minutes I've lost it. You can't blame the guy for getting passionate - he's not too bad when he calms down.

And I think he was unfair to have been sent off. He didn't retaliate at all to Wally.

HOWEVER

I'm concerned about what he might have said to Gillespie before he came on. I might be way off the mark here and this may be a silly cynical point, but if he's got in in his thick head that Hunt goes out to hurt people, and he clearly had it in for Hunt, (plus Hunt was causing all sorts of problems to their defence), do you think there's any chance he'd have instructed Gillespie to rough Hunt up a bit?

Because I get the impression that if Colin could get close he'd have decked Hunt himself.

I honestly wouldn't be totally surprised if he just gave his sub a few pointers.

What a tw*t.

Like I said somewhere else - that's the problem with Sheff Utd having a "fan" as their manager - they need someone better imho!

Row Z Royal I don't think it's right to condone Wally's behaviour today.

Fair point but both Halsey and the fourth official were very much at fault for not sorting Colin out at the time of the sending off. Fourth official should also have done something when Colin continued after that. And the FA should also shoulder a lot of responsibility as they continue to let Colin get away with his high profile and unacceptable antics. They obviously view him like Moronho - untouchable.

No one should forget that Warnock is a proven cheat (he even got off light on that one) who thinks nothing of getting his players to feign injury to prevent the other team from winning. Therefore probably wouldn't think twice about telling them to put the boot in.

I must qualify that last remark. Although everyone else seemed to reckon Warnock had cheated, the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil monkeys at the FA did their usual trick and decided to clear him!
