RIP ELM Park
jetsetwilly If Murts moved up to the team from the bench, then one of Convey, Bikey, Federici or Oster must have been a late draft to replace him.

Close but it was Seol who was summoned from the stands.

No Seol replaced Kits, not Murts. We must have had 2 replacements to the intented squad.

bracknell loyal royal! Discuss.

Why did Coppel pick him, he's no more than League 2 quality.

And yes i'm very happy with a point but he's terrible.

PieEater I thought he had a great game today and a contender for MOTM. Great goal and looks comfortable breaking up the Sheffied attack and starting a counter.

We was a bit wayward with his passing on occassions but overall a worthy replacement for Shorey when you consider he was not playing his natural position.

The goal was amazing but there was still a few passes / clearances that made you think ouch, if we were playing anyone else I think they would of built on the mistakes and punished us...

I think at times it was about clearing his lines in an unfamiliar position.

In the second half that covering run behind Bikey to clear was awesome along with the slide challenge in the 1st half. DLC was brilliant in both defense and attack today

I am tempted to burst into song again........

RoyalBlue Absolutely class finish - many strikers/midfielders wouldn't have kept their heads and would have failed to convert that chance.

Also, what was all that crap about no pace. Fantastic pacey run forward, (left everyone for dead) to support Bobby as he broke forward and that in the last minutes of the game.

Guess it's the Coppel coaching magic.

Well, where are all the DLC, Hunt and Bikey detractors now then !?.

C*cks the lot of them!. Some of our so called fans should be holding their heads in shame tonight, DLC was far and away MOTM today (and not just because of the fabulous goal).

As I said earlier in this thread this guy is fantastic and is not considered one of Ecuadors greats for nothing! He deserves his place in the side. His versatility alone, being able to play anywhere across the back 4 is a major asset for the club and his positioning, pace, work rate and passing were exceptional at times today.

So all fool you the keyboard 'experts' on here! Although woe betide DLC to make a single mistake in a game as we know that the cretins will be back to tell us how awful and what a complete waste of space he is as soon as the chance arrives.

Fickle fans !! - We must have some of the worst in the country !

One game won't alter my opinion on him just yet, although he was immense today (in spite of the mistake for their goal) and deserves man of the match. I hope it continues and he changes my opinion on him in similar fashion to the change in opinion I'm beginning to have with Lita's sustained form.
