I know that he's had two good games
and that he has had a run of playing three games on the bounce
the result?

Personally, i think he played well in three matches on the bounce, as I said.

AthleticoSpizznozac naloenwhat all 6 of them
I bet you weren't at least two of them
So you think he's only had one good game then?
Because he's had 7 appearances in a Reading shirt.

Sebastian In the first five minutes today he was caught in posession a couple of times and made a couple of wayward passes
9/10 today. Well done Ulysses.

but he wasn't actually caught in posession in the first five minutesSebastian I'm not saying he wasn't awesome, jeez! Just that it took him 5 mins to get into the game. Hardly biting criticism.
From my above post I think you'll see I said he had a brilliant game, and hoped that he could maintain the form - slow first five mins or not.

I have to admit i celebrated his goal with a grin on my face due to the prospect of the stick that was going to be heading my way after the match, i eat my words delightedly!

Sebastianzac naloen but other than that I struggle to think of anything that can't be put down to nervousness.
My point exactly - nerves for the first 5 mins, then settled into the game and had a stormer. The only other thing was the United goal (which I'm not convinced was solely his fault anyway) - and even if it was that can be put down solely to not having played very long with the other lads and not having had much 1st team action of late.
Top draw.

AthleticoSpizz actually NO
I find great delight in seeing Reading win
I take greater delight in seeing unfashionable/unliked Reading players doing good
and scoring
Too many (including the dickhead with the high pitched voice who sits behind me) pre-judge our players
I just fu3kin love it when the players prove them wrong.
DLC made my year
just Hallsy to work on now

Have I missed something here? I thought the whole point of being a fan of a club was wanting your team to do well? Yes, there are some players who are better than others and some who you don't want to see in the team, but you still want them to do well when they get a chance because they play for Reading!
If you honestly think that posters who criticise players on here have vendettas against the individuals then you really do have too vivid an imagination and should seek therapy.

well actually i took fu3kin great pleasure.......and YES it made my sad seasonRoyalee You stated that some players are disliked and implied that you take pleasure in them doing well just to prove people wrong. I don't see how De La Cruz having one exceptional game can make your year - surely it's much more satisfying to see the team do well as a whole?
I'm pleased for De La Cruz today as he showed vast improvement. However, I take no more pride in his performance than I did Shorey's against West Ham or Glen Little's against Chelsea.
