The Stewards today.

by zac naloen » 20 Jan 2007 21:57

I thought the Stewards had an excellent two hours in difficult and hostile conditions.

Despite a little bit of jobs bodyness over in the east stand (bad reaction guys by the way, there could be repercussions) they kept a few confrontations in the south (yes south) stand by quietly talking and calming fans down.

The numbers of stewards is quite ridiculous. So many outside walking past coaches

They just put most of the stewards from inside the ground outside by the coaches, put them around the stands and they really don't look like that many.

East stand? One or two blocks to the right of the sign?

'Stand up if you hate stewards'

By looking at the face of one of the stewards he seemed to take it to heart, bless him.

Possibly the big one, with Vodafone on it in massive letters and a video screen.

But you just made my point, it's clear why you thought the stewards were bad. You lot do everything to wind them up, it's no surprise they target you.

Why did the Stewards go to Y25 today? Was it standing?

no

they were beating the backs of the youths legs with wet mackerels

Why?.........for looking at eachother with admiring eyes everytime a song was sung by their mates

instead of watching what was actually going on, on the pitch

On the whole, absolutely useless.

I'd also like to know why the Sheffield United fan who pushed a steward over near the East Stand corner wasn't ejected from the ground.
