AthleticoSpizz frickin hate the guy, but......

he was excellent yesterday.....loved the banter too

His charisma shut up a few of our local taynies

I know what charisma is but what's a taynie??

Maybe you meant 'trainee' but they are now 'acadamicians'.

Top keeper, and a likeable character.

Funny thing is the girth of some of those giving it large was hardly atheletic :)

The clue from the East Stand was

(to the tune of, for he's a jolly good fellow)

"She left because you're fat!"

His wife was shagging his mate (and best man at their wedding).

Paddy Kenny has always been an awsome keeper. He has always been negatively judged because of his waistline. Were he to have a different stature he would have been in the prem years ago

From Despair To Where? To be fair, yesterday I saw in Kenny what blade 1 is always going on about about as he put in a class performance. With your private life all over the papers it must be difficult to put up with the constant piss taking week in, week out but he can give it back in equal measure. Fair play to the bloke.

He's clearly got very broad shoulders........ along with much of the rest of his body!

Agreed, fair play to him though.

Does that mean she had carnal knowledge :

a) with his mate, who was best man at their wedding

or

b) with his mate and the best man at their wedding (I hope she waited until the reception at least)

If it's the latter then it would seem that Paddy is not the only person in the Kenny household who enjoys a good roast

I've never liked the cheating sod ever since he brought down Tony Rougier at Giggs Lane. I know, move on, but I'm not the forgiving type. Or even the forgetting type.

Man Friday I'm warming to the man. He's a throwback to when footballers had character and enjoyed banter with the crowd. At one stage, the fans were singing (for the umpteenth time) "Fatty, Fatty, what's the score?" and he pointed, quick as a flash, to a fan behind the goal that he'd been having banter with and then pointed to where the chant was coming from (top corner of North Stand) as if to say "they're talking to you mate!". The Reading fans applauded and laughed as did Kenny in response. By the way, he clapped the Reading fans at the end proving (to me) that he "took it all like a man". Nice one Paddy, I like ya.

Have to say I quite like him too. I wish more players/coaches could enjoy banter like that.

He needs more than a gym. A brush up on how to referee a game would be handy...

Anyone remember the banter with Nathan Abbey at Chesterfield in 2002? That was a good laugh and he applauded the Reading fans at the end.
