John Madejski's Wallet
AthleticoSpizz whats the deal with Kennys' private life then?

His wife was shagging his mate (and best man at their wedding).

Paddy Kenny has always been an awsome keeper. He has always been negatively judged because of his waistline. Were he to have a different stature he would have been in the prem years ago

Added to that, they spilt the beans, so to speak, during a drunken evening in a Halifax curry house which resulted to Kenny and his mate having a bit of a pagga in the car park and Kenny having his eyebrow bitten off. Warnock's explanation for the whole incident? Well, he's a bit thick, really.

Rawlie19 Last season when we were booing him very loudly as he walked back to goal after not being sent off, he visibly mouthed sorry and shrugged his shoulders. What could he do? Wasn't his fault the ref didn't know the rules. He knew he should have walked and seemed genuinly remorseful.

Still wanted to see him sent off yesterday though.

Technically i think the ref got that decision right tho. you can't give a straight red for hand ball unless it prevents a clear goalscoring opportunity, and i seem to remember that it would have been a difficult chance.

anyway, i think he's a decent keeper, and its good to see fans and opposition players havng a bit of banter rather than just hurling insults at them for 90 minutes

I didn't know that during the bust-up on Saturday Hahnemann offered Paddy a fight in the centre-circle

top lad and top keeper

its good when you can take so much abuse and still give it back without the opposition going crazy ala hull.

He got knocked out twice and still played on dispite not knowing what day it was and then put his hand to his ear to indicate that the whole grounds chanting was for him and some hull fan reported him to the police.

Although the majority of fans would take it in the correct spirit and resect him for it

Hahaha, you couldn't be further from the truth.

As i said...He seems to get on with Marcus, after the match and the obligatory shake hands, Marcus was shadow boxing in front of Paddy and gave him a big hug.

I didn't see any of that so maybe shouldn't comment, but assuming you are right rb (and I'm confdent you are) the rumour spreading / event twisting that comes out after these sort of incidents are generally a load of old bullshit.

I'm 100% right, I stay on to clap the players and I saw it happen.

Marcus running up.
Shadow boxing - obviously taking the piss out of the melee.
Big hugs.

To be fair, M4J11 said "during the melee" so he might be talking about something else altogether than the bit you witnessed...

You remember it differently to me. The ball was headed goalwards and the nearest defender was behind the action. Even the commentators thought it was a red card and were surprised. That includes Kammy, who was the Sky reporter at the game for Soccer Saturday.

According to the FA premier league sticker wotsit, Hahnemahn is the heaviest goalkeeper, at least.

Hmm, I'd have voted Friedl for that dubious accolade!

It was during the sending off incident - story on Page 65 of the Reading Post.

Not... even... close. Have you seen Kenny's stomach? It's a shocking thing on a professional athlete.

If he gets a match ban someone must get them printed and on sale for the Wigan game. Anyone know a t-shirt designer
