So the stamping action was not adopting an aggressive behaviour? That does not make sense.

Winchester Royal Why did Warnock decide to bring up the Sidwell tackle immediately after Gillespie had been sent off?

southbank1871 Can't really see the problem with this. Warnock may be a bit of a tool, but I can't honestly see that he did too much wrong here.

Ian Royal well the ref will have confirmed his story is correct and Downes mis-read the whole thing.

So he stamped and yelled, and then a significant amount of time later (he'd had time to quiet down, ruminate a while and then pick up his water bottle for a drink) a coach from the opposition bench charges over and pushes him. I can;t see how he can be charged for causing the fracas.mikey0406 but if warnock didnt do the stamping action nothing would of kicked off! is it just him being stupid doing it at a wrong time?

Not just Downes but also Gillespie who took Colin's suggestion to "Do Him" literally. It looks like Colin will escape punishment but at the expense of dumping on Gillespie who must now feel let down and a prize fool!
