2 world wars, 1 world cup A whle back someone sugested we call the away stand the "oxf*rd" (sp?) stand.

I don't know who this is/ was but I'm guessing he's an old player of ours?

Being funny RL. Naming the stand where the AWAY fans sit the oxf*rd. But you're right. Maybe the whole stand is going too far. How about just the couple of blocks that the away fans sit in then?

Wayne oxf*rd. Played for Reading 1977-80. 57 games, 4 goals. Didn't he also play for Aldershot though?

Why not call the East stand the Southbank, the West The Seated Stand, the North the Town End and the South the Tilehurst End.

The East Stand will be named the South Stand as a homage to the Southbank.

The North Stand is to be named after Andy West, It will be know as the West Stand.
