That Friday Feeling I prefer to think that there is a slim chance that we definitely could do although on the other hand I have to concede that there is every chance we probably won't.

Alternatively we may have already done so although I think it more likely that we haven't.

definatly maybe

I disagree. My view is that if he signs he will be a Reading FC player, and if he doesn't he won't.

I've had it up to here with you. There is no way he won't sign a contract with us unless he turns it down.

Shut it, you don't know nuffink mate. If he turns down the contract, he won;t sign, he signs the contract he will sign.

Only 2 options, yes, no or maybe. Got it!

I understand that is the sticking point. Duberry is demanding a week's supply of Lockets to sooth his throat but the club will only stretch to a pack of ASDAs own and a small bottle of Buttercup syrup.

I can see them upping it to a pack of Tescos own, or Waitrose if they get really serious. Of course Buttercup would have to stay too.

I heard of a potential swap involving buttercup and tixylix.

Tixylix? Obviously not hard enough. Shove him some Fisherman's Friends and find out if he's up to The Premiership or not.

He's got nothing to worry about when it comes to throat/ voicebox concerns with RFC - we have a strong team of medical staff well equipped to prevent such problems occurring.

I'm sure Nicky Hammond will have discussed this at length with him and totally reassured him that such problems do not arise at RFC.

Oh hang on...

So do we have any idea why it is (presumabley) taking so long to agree personal terms? Could it be that he wants more than the 18 month contract we will probably be offering? Or could it be the rumours forum users favourite, wages? Does anybody have an idea?

yes

my idea is to genetically modify turkeys with bat DNA so they can hang upside down from the ceiling, thus doubling the number of turkeys that can be housed in any one turkey barn.
