JimmytheJim Leighton Baines would be more likely, since he has played in the Premier League for a season longer. Gareth Barry, even.

noise Don't think so, Baines would be last with how Wigan are performing, McClaren should be picking players on current form, not price tag. I believe Matt Taylor would be ahead of Shorey aswell. If worse comes to worse, McClaren would probably just play someone out of position instead of bring someone new in. Maybe he will try another one of those proven formations.
