Huntley & Palmer
RoyalBlue Landzaat's might have been a great strike but is that all good goals are about? Sidwell's was a far better crafted and quality goal.

Defensive error on the edge of the box that allowed Harper to win the ball and start the move. It wasn't that good.

It can't be that bad either if it's getting +90% of the vote for goal of the week ;)

Still a good one-two (IIRC he'd tried a similar move earlier which didn't quite come off) and great finish.

Didn't Landzaat's come from a poor clearance?

Hang on guys...this could lead to Sids trying to get an even higher wage from us!!!!

Sids: "But John, Steve, Nick look guys on top of everything else I've asked for, I've recently been voted best goal of the week, by a country mile and reckon that's gotta be worth at least another bag of pampers per week to help me out with the baby and all that...I am a family man afterall"

Anyone know if DLC thanked HNA in his acceptance speech when he got his goal of the week award?

25+ yard spank into the top corner against one of the best keepers in Europe, versus a neat little one two in the box and a simple finish into the corner. You are correct, no contest. The irony of those that argue this club isn't 'plastic' is only too aparent here

Just because they make it look 'simple' doesn't mean it is. Otherwise there would be goals like that every week.

And just how does backing your own team's player make your club plastic?
