Not wanting to put a downer on what was an excellent goal, do we really want to be touting Sidwell even more than he already has been?

Do you really think a fans vote on a website is really going to make any difference?

It's a bit of harmless fun that's all!

Just let my finger do the clicking whilst watching 'The Verdict' last night!

The voting looks like it's died down with Sidwell stuck on 66%

Huntley & Palmer
Platypuss
Huntley & Palmer Because it isn't being voted for by RFC, just a few sad people on the internet that have found a loophole. It's an award that means absolutely nothing, yet people on here get very excited about the prospect of a Reading player winning it. A goal should be voted for because of merit, not because it was scored by your player.

Exactly.

It's not plastic though, it's smalltime.

Of course. It does pail into insignificance when compared to the club making mugs out of the Reading support by encouraging us to visit the official site. "We paid for John Salako because of you clicking a mouse"

My oxf*rd arse

How far back in the past do you live?!

I think things have moved on quite considerably since then.. !

For me Sidders is the best of the lot - and gets my vote.

I was merely making a point about how tin pot the supporters of this club can be at times. As I say, the Salako example was probably the lowest we have stooped.

No I think you're wrong on that. All those that joined in with the antics of a certain Mr. Uri Geller (and the fact that the club gave him licence) is probably as low as its ever been, for both club & supporters.

The net effect of Salakos presence , far outweighed the way that he arrived at the club.
