It's an award that means absolutely nothing, yet people on here get very excited about the prospect of a Reading player winning it. A goal should be voted for because of merit, not because it was scored by your player.

I was merely making a point about how tin pot the supporters of this club can be at times. As I say, the Salako example was probably the lowest we have stooped.

No I think you're wrong on that. All those that joined in with the antics of a certain Mr. Uri Geller (and the fact that the club gave him licence) is probably as low as its ever been, for both club & supporters.

The net effect of Salakos presence , far outweighed the way that he arrived at the club.
