Got my tickets - me and missus going - very excited!!

Been told to park at Salford Quays - free parking if you spend £10 in the complex - 10 min walks away. Safe to wear colours but the "Salford Reds" may shout out some abuse over the bridge.

Look forward to seeing any HNA users.

Not really, if it was an unlicenced cab they should have got out and run, who's the driver going to complain to, the police?

Huntley & Palmer Well it was a pretty safe prediction that it would be low. £35 on a 5:15pm KO when it is on BBC is not enough to get AST holders going, let alone those that didn't get a ticket for the league game. Only one train back as well that gets into Reading around 1:30am so driving is the only option and let's face it, who wants to get home at midnight after being tonked at Old Trafford

LOL @ H & P.

For me it was 35 minutes between leaving base and parking outside the cricket ground - FOR FREE 8)

2.5 hours to get home! Traffic was bleedin' horrible. Sod that with trying to get back to Reading.
Can't blame anyone for knocking that game on the head, but what a day!

Especially as he was ripped off. I got a black cab home from Manchester to Salford at about 2am, and it cost less than a tenner. As I'm a good mile further on, it should be less than £10 from OT to town.

Would hardly call Ingimarsson, Shorey, Kitson, Sidwell our reserves.
I got home at 12:30 waiting for the traffic to die down by having a kick around in the cricket ground car park. Was easily worth it though.

No but the other players were. I'll console myself with not spending a lot of money and wasting 8 hours of my life on motorways

The 8 hours+ spent on motorways on saturday was easily worth it.

Good for you. It wasn't my idea of how to spend the weekend, it was quite nice to have a weekend off watching Reading live
