noise What's the point of this? This guy has no clue about Reading and yet he is going on the Reading footy phone in. Listeners of the show want insight about what is goign on at Reading, not some tabloid who just writes nonsense wind ups. This is pathetic and you are no worse than the shite he writes.

Who is on next week, Ricky Gervais?

Rather have Kate Winslett.....

To Joel and Ollie - get your big blank markers ready if you are printing out this lot. Lots of editing needed.

Matt, you know that picture of Rooney with Ronaldo kneeling in front of him? Why don't you superimpose Holt's face on top of Rooney's?

I might actually have to tune into BBCRB via the Internet on my Friday night, to listen to some c u n t e r from the Daily Mirror try and get his view across... How sad have I become? At least you guys can just pick it up on the radio.. I'll have to sit down and listen to my computer...

Ladies and gentleman, the BBC responds...

by BBC Radio Berkshire » 19 Feb 2007 15:09

Dear All,

Whilst it is clear that Oliver Holt's work has provoked a strong response from yourselves it is only fair that he be given a chance to come on and have his say, explain the reasoning behind his views and also hear what loyal Royals have to say.

It should be an interesting debate.

You never know, you may well win him round !

All the best

Joel

Tabloid journalists are shit and will always be shit. They don't care what they say or who they hurt, because they will always be protected by laws. The more controversial they are, the more copies they sell. There is a difference between someone with knowledge that has something against Reading, and someone who is a oxf*rd full knowingly just wants to be a mixer and a bully against small clubs just to make a profit.

I would love to have a debate against someone on Coppell's cup selection or Wally Downes punch up. Not with someone who analyizes Stephen Hunt's goal celebration as a murderer would celebrate killing a victim. Tosser.

Can I make an early plea that on Friday we prove ourselves to be the fair-minded, reasonable, intelligent football fans that we all know we are.

Joel,

The only people who can properly question his 'reasoning' are yourselves. Get Tim in there, he's a Reading fan and he knows the score. We suspect our questions via phone and email will get the big fob-off.

He already has that chance in his filthy rag.

BBC Radio Berkshire and also hear what loyal Royals have to say.

I doubt he would have any interest in what we say. He seems to be one of those bad journos.

Sebastian Dear Mr Holt,

Throughout this season you have made many comments about Reading Football Club, and especially Stephen Hunt. Mr Hunt has been shown to have one of the best disciplinary records in the league - and is constantly picked out by pundits on MOTD, in various newspapers, and on the internet as a top quality performer, and avery honest hard working player. Have you ever been tempted to retract your comments? What are your current views on Stephen Hunt, and Reading Football Club?

Seb

great question

Mr HoLOLt.

You are sitting around the table on Jimmy Hill's Sunday Supplement with Jimmy, Brian Woolnough and Steve Curry. Unfortunately i only have 3 bullets in my gun as the previous day I've used 3 to take out Phil Thompson "and everytink".

Obviously i will not risk you getting away so will use 2 of the 3 on you, you odious twerp, but tell me which one of the other 3 should join you in journalist hell?
