The man is a legend and every time he gets the ball he looks to create and do something positive. It reminds me of the good old days at Elm Park when Gilksy was in his prime.

Agreed, the ball is glued to his foot. Talk about blossoming late - he looked out of his depth in his brief spell at Bolton, but looks at home now.

He's a magician with the ball at his feet.

I honestly reckon we would have won if he'd played longer last night. Should have come on at 1/2 time. (admittedly his first contribution last night was a bit scary)

He's obviously full of confidence and Full-backs don't know how to deal with him. They must assume he's a lower division lumbering winger with no pace.

He's made a mockery of those who thought his lack of pace would mean he'd be ineffective at this level.

Old fashioned skill and ability to beat his man are all he needs.Once he's wrong-footed his opponent it doesn't matter if he's got Gilkeseys pace or my pace, he's got the chance to get the ball in.

The guy's lack of pace is amazing, highlighted when he was chasing back to help out the defence shortly after he'd come on. This makes it all the more astonishing as to how he manages to consistently murk any full back he comes up against. What he lacks in pace, he makes up in quickness of feet and trickery.

All joking aside, it ridiculous that SWP is in the England team and Little doesn't even get considered, bearing in mind how well he's playing.

I find it funny how he's made internationals (Barry, Heinze, et al) look quite silly at times. His best game this season was Fulham but it was unfortunate that he got injured, otherwise we would have won by more than 1. And the best thing is, he didnt cost us a penny!

he seems to have a half decent burst of pace however when attacking defenders...huge strides mean he bypasses defenders with ease...especially heinze!!
