Arsenal v Reading

by Spirit of Elm Park » 28 Feb 2007 10:05

No Adebayour, No Toure, No Van Percie, and no Henry.

A forward line consisting of most likely Walcott and Baptiste.

No team has yet won at the Emirates.........could we?

Henry isn't injured, he stuck with the team that played all the Cup games. So expect him, Rosicky, Gilberto, Hleb and a few others. They still have Senderos and Djourou for centre back as well.

I thought they said on SSN yesterday that Henry had injured his foot or ankle or something?

That's what I thought - although Wenger may have one eye on the CL game against PSV...

Henry has a foot injury, Van Persie a broken metatarsal. Rosicky is out with a groin injury too.

Yeah, he's got a foot injury apparently. Can't see it keeping him out of the game on Saturday though

SSN and Talkshite I'm afraid, but they seemed pretty sure Henry won't, be playing. Big risk playing him, given they need a result on tuesday.

Gooner here at work says Henry has a foot injury and isn't playing tonight. But he expects him to be fit for Saturday.

No. Another 3 or 4 nil defeat at the hand if the Gunners I fear.

Arsenal team news for tonight:
The visitors will also be without the injured Thierry Henry (foot), Tomas Rosicky (groin) and Abou Diaby (ankle), while Justin Hoyte (hamstring), Theo Walcott (shoulder) and full-back Gael Clichy (foot) are all doubtful.
